Please send the details (participants and streams involved) by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and have your participant come to the SPECIAL REGISTRATIONS onsite PLENTY OF TIME AHEAD as there will be a lineup. This person should bring a copy of the email requesting the change.
Can I switch between streams?
Maybe. Maybe not. Ask your Group Coordinator.
It will depend on when you make this request.
If you make this request BEFORE THE EVENT, then maybe. It will depend if there is room left in the session you want to switch to. Speak to your Group Coordinator.
If you make this request ONSITE, at the event, it is highly unlikely that it will possible to make the switch, as space is limited and sessions may be full. But you can try: Go to the Special Registration Booth to ask.
Each stream is colour coded and the colour for the sessions you selected is on your name badge. Only those with the correct colour of session will be allowed to attend.
Entry into each room will be closely monitored so that persons who have pre-registered are given first access. Capacity restriction is an unfortunate reality, so register early to save your spot.
Note: All streams, excluding keynote speeches, are concurrent (they occur at the same time), therefore delegates must choose to attend ONE stream per day. The colour for the selected stream will be featured on each person's name badge.
Can I share my registration package with another person?
The Registration Package is made for ONE specific person. Sharing an individual registration package is positively not permitted. All substitution and/or cancellation requests must be made by email to email@example.com and ideally accompanied by the invoice number.
Can another person be substituted for my individual registration package if I cannot attend?
Yes, but... this person may have to keep the streams/subjects you have selected.
Another person may be substituted for the entire Registration Package (i.e., all days purchased) if the registered individual cannot attend. Substitutions should be requested by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and will be accepted until November 10, 2017. Changes to stream selections should also be made no later than November 10, 2017.
**For last minute changes**
You MUST send an email to email@example.com authorizing another person (provide full name) to use your registration, as you are unable to attend. This person will need to show a valid piece of ID and would ideally have a paper copy of the authorization email with her when she goes to make the switch at the Special Registration Booth onsite.
What is fmi*igf's cancellation policy?
Oct. 27 is the key. Cancel before, no prob. After that, we keep your money.
Cancellations, with full refund, will be accepted until October 27, 2017. Cancellations should be requested by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be no refunds after October 27, 2017.
When do I pick up my registration package?
Onsite at the Hilton, on your first day at PD Week.
All individual and group delegates must pick up their registration packages (including name badge) at the PD Week 2017 Registration Desk on the first day for which they are registered to attend. The registration desk, located on the conference level of the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, will open daily at 7:30am.
